The Birth: She says...…..
"Writing stories was a hidden talent, which suddenly manifested itself in me during one of the most boring years of my life. I had just been informed that I failed some of my University Entrance Exams, called JAMB in Nigeria. That meant I had to stay at home for another year to re-sit the exams. That was when the idea of writing struck my heart, if only to get rid of boredom. So, I started just for the fun of it. It was in 1987 and I was nineteen when I first started drafting this particular manuscript.

At one time, I actually thrashed the tattered scripts, naïve of the fact that something could possibly come out of it. However, I held on to a couple of sheets, and over the years, had revised and expanded as and when time permitted.

My advice; don't give up. Even if it is just a couple of scribbles, develop and update it on a regular basis and one day, it could become a world-wide tale!
Her first novel, Bones of Contention, is truly entertaining and comical. It illustrates one of the potential problems youngsters could experience when a decision is made on whom they propose to commence a relationship with. Please visit Amazon for copies.
